Faraday-bag connection-check record
Print a blank copy: use your browser’s Print command (Ctrl+P on Windows, Command+P on Mac), then choose your printer or Save as PDF. Fill the spaces by hand. No answers are collected by this page.
1. Describe one setup
This is a blank observational record, not a certification form. No test has been performed or recorded here. Use equipment you already have; a different setup needs a separate record. Read the companion guide before starting.
Circle one intended connection: cellular / Wi-Fi / Bluetooth. Treat each as a separate check.
Keep the intended radio on, use the manufacturer’s closure instructions, and keep charging cables out of the opening. A quiet phone is not proof of isolation. The guide and its sources explain the limits.
2. Baseline → closed interval → recovery
Use the same devices, settings, placement, and location. Record changes or interruptions. Three blank runs are provided for convenience; this is not a standard or a statistical guarantee.
Run 1
Run 2
Run 3
Result labels: communication observed / communication not observed during this interval / inconclusive / not tested.
For a call, caller ringback is not the target-phone observation. For data, record fresh traffic rather than a cached display. For Bluetooth audio, note continuation and interruption times; the first instant may reflect a buffer.
If baseline or recovery fails, the path is unclear, or opening the bag is required to observe the event, explain the limitation. Do not attribute the outcome solely to the bag, convert these observations to decibels, or expand them to untested bands, devices, conditions, or security claims.
